Costa Rica Fruits And Vegetable

See some of Costa Rica's fruits and vegetables such as; melon, sandia, chilacayote, and papaya.
The fruits are not only for eating, they are also used for delicious blended drinks called, 'batidos.' Batidos, or shake in English, are made with the fruit mix along with sugar, and the choice of water or with milk. Add ice and this drink makes a good refreshing drink. Typically served with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The chilacayote is used in various dishes, often times it is used in soups.
